6/26/2008 - Powers Receives Presidential Fellowship
Daniel Powers was awarded the Presidential Fellowship for Faculty Development by the Savannah College of Art and Design. Powers will use the fellowship to travel to Ireland to research and create a children's book about Europe's most renowned harper, Turlough O'Carolan.

4/13/2008 - School Visits
Daniel Powers visits schools, grades pre-K through 12, helping students develop their narrative skills both visually and verbally. When possible, Powers tailors his presentations to work with specific curriculum needs. Daniel is currently booking school visits throughout the U.S and abroad through 2007.

Educational Presentations and Workshops.
Daniel works with teachers, librarians and administrators, helping them hone their visual literacy skills and integrating these skills into their curricula. He has presented throughout the US as well as in France, Germany and Mexico.
